David Granick’s East End in Colour
Not much is known about David Granick, who lived and worked in Stepney his whole life, until his death if 1980. As an amateur photographer and member of the East London History Society, Granick spent the best part of 20 years documenting the rapidly changing face of post-war East London.
A selection from more than 2000 of his Kodachrome slides, which lay untouched for more than 30 years have now gone on display at the Tower Hamlets Local History Library where they were stored.
